Keep our school clean

The litter in the school playground at the end of the day is a sight for sore eyes. Surprising as there is no janitor and it is the pupils themselves would do the cleaning and sweeping every morning. To raise awareness, talk and advertise our plight for a cleaner school we embarked on a bit of graphic design with some successful results.

Fragile world

 

The P5’s made paper mâche globes this term. In groups they wrapped newspaper soaked in flour and water to cover balloons. Leaving them to dry until the following week, they then undertook the daunting task of drawing and painting on the continents.   

Smudgy smoke drawings

As part of our ‘Keep Our Environment Clean’ theme the P4’s used charcoal (usually used here to cook) to draw different types of air pollution.
